What People's Say About Place

I wanna say I always come with a open palette when trying new places and that’s exactly what I did on this most recent visit. The vibe was great and with the weather was perfect we took advantage of the outdoor seating. I wasn’t over the top impressed with the food, however I may still need to venture the menu more. The shrimp was nice and crispy but the sauce left me wondering what the flavor intent really was. Ordered the porch pasta and man sorry to say it was not it. It says it comes with a Cajun cream but it was very watery and soupy which a cream would not be, and was very salty. Lastly the salads and the sandwich were decent. The experience was decent. Will try again but certain things I ordered last time I won’t order again. Parking is free. Decent sized lot.

The Porch was a great stop. I had the boneless chicken, and it was exactly how it should be—hot, crispy on the outside, and tender inside. No dryness at all. For drinks, I ordered a frozen Porcharita (blueberry) and wow—it was strong in the best way. You could actually taste the alcohol, not watered down like some places. My wife had an alcoholic beverage called “My Ex Wife’s Secret,” which she really enjoyed. Food-wise, she ordered the French dip burger with a side salad, and it hit the spot. They have happy hour for both drinks and food, which is a big plus. Margaritas are only $6, and it looks like they run multiple happy hours throughout the day—midday, night, and even a late-night/midnight happy hour, which is awesome. Parking is plentiful and easy, no stress there. The atmosphere is relaxed and lively, and a really cool feature is that most of the bar area can open up, allowing more airflow if it gets crowded—huge bonus. Accessibility-wise, this place is handicap-friendly: no stairs, completely flat. You can easily roll in a wheelchair or walk with a cane without any issues. It’s also right next to a movie theater, making it the perfect spot before or after a movie. Overall, great food, strong drinks, good prices, and a comfortable setup. Definitely coming back.

My granddaughter and I stopped for lunch! Great service, great food, love the vibe. We sat outside and played an oversized connect 4 game! They have overhead heaters and table side mushroom heaters! Highly recommend. Perfect for large family with or without kids! The food and drinks were great!

This place is such a treat! Heaters, patio, large, open setting, many tasty (even healthy) options -- I could go on and on! We enjoy going to Majestic (Tempe location is next door) and The Porch is *such* a friendly pre-movie drink! The service is always kind and considerate, which makes this place special to us. It belongs exactly where it is in Tempe, and I mean that in the best way possible. We'll be back for more brews and food very soon, that's guaranteed!

Only waited about 5 minutes to get a table. Play it was nice and clean and a friendly staff. Order a couple beers and the spicy chicken sandwich. It came with an injectable sauce which had honey in it. The sauce tasted nice but I almost felt like I didn't need it. The chicken wasn't overly spicy but still had a good flavor. The chicken breast was a good size but I still think it could have been a little bit bigger for the price. Besides that my only complaint was the sweet potato fries came out cold. There are plenty of tvs, so It's a good spot to catch a game if you're in the area. I'm sure I'll be back.

We had lunch at The Porch in Tempe and absolutely loved it! This place is such a fun and lively spot – perfect for anyone who enjoys outdoor vibes and games. If we lived closer, we’d definitely be here more often. The setting is casual and energetic, with plenty of space to relax, play, and enjoy the sunshine. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot-on, and our server was both friendly and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you're looking for a fun hangout with friends or a laid-back lunch spot, The Porch hits the mark. We’ll definitely be back!

Cute place all decorated for the holidays. The giant pretzel was wonderful and the Hot Shot burger was very good. The Diablo margarita was also fabulous! Can't wait to go back!!! Quinton did a great job at explain the menu and gave us good service.

I had such a wonderful experience at this place! The vibe is so cool and welcoming. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, which made our visit even better. And the food? Absolutely excellent! Highly recommend.
